Caring for nature, avoiding damage to others.
The pure and free dance of our bodies.
The first movement on Earth.
This is Rizoma, by Madrid-based, Israeli choreographer Sharon Fridman and co-produced by the Hong Kong Arts Festival with Frans Brood Productions.
Performed for the first time in France in 2012, Rimoza is an ecological performance for those who seek rebirth through movement. Through sculptural and embodied movement, participants connect with other earthly realities and the truth of their bodies, feeling the map of the roots and their connections with the world in multiplicity.
In this Hong Kong version, all dancers and musician will be recruited locally for two-week rehearsals and four performances at Parade Ground.
